الحمد لله وصلى الله وسلم وبارك على رسول الله وعلى آله وصحبه.
أما بعد.
ففي هذه السطور أنقل كلاما نفيساً للعلامة ابن القيم رحمه الله تعالى، في أسباب الصبر على المعاصي والحرص على البعد عنها، وذكر شيء من مضار الوقوع فيها.
يقول رحمه الله:"الصبر عن المعصية ينشأ من أسباب عديدة:
* أحدها: علم العبد بقبحها ورذالتها ودناءتها، وأن الله إنما حرمها ونهى عنها صيانة وحماية عن الدنايا والرذائل كما يحمي الوالد الشفيق ولده عما يضره، وهذا السبب يحمل العاقل على تركها ولو لم يعلق عليها وعيد بالعذاب.
* السبب الثاني: الحياء من الله سبحانه فإن العبد متى علم بنظره إليه، ومقامه عليه، وأنه بمرأى منه ومسمع، وكان حييا استحيى من ربه أن يتعرض لمساخطه.
* السبب الثالث: مراعاة نعمه عليك، وإحسانه إليك، فإن الذنوب تزيل النعم ولا بد، فما أذنب عبد ذنباً إلا زالت عنه نعمة من الله بحسب ذلك الذنب، فإن تاب وراجع رجعت إليه أو مثلها، وإن أصرَّ لم ترجع إليه، ولا تزال الذنوب تزيل عنه نعمة حتى تسلب النعم كلها، قال الله تعالى {إن الله لا يغير ما بقوم حتى يغيروا ما بأنفسهم}، وأعظم النعم الإيمان، وذنب الزنا والسرقة وشرب الخمر وانتهاب النهبة يزيلها ويسلبها، وقال بعض السلف :"أذنبت ذنباً فحرمت قيام الليل سنة".
وقال آخر :"أذنبت ذنبا فحرمت فهم القرآن".
وفي مثل هذا قيل :
إذا كنت في نعمة فارعها *** فإن المعاصي تزيل النعم .
وبالجملة فإن المعاصي نار النعم تأكلها كما تأكل النار الحطب، عياذا بالله من زوال نعمته وتحويل عافيته.
* السبب الرابع: خوف الله وخشية عقابه وهذا إنما يثبت بتصديقه في وعده ووعيده، والإيمان به وبكتابه وبرسوله، وهذا السبب يقوى بالعلم واليقين، ويضعف بضعفهما، قال الله تعالى {إنما يخشى الله من عباده العلماء}.
وقال بعض السلف :"كفى بخشية الله علماً، والاغترار بالله جهلاً".
* السبب الخامس: محبة الله وهي أقوى الأسباب في الصبر عن مخالفته ومعاصيه، فإن المحب لمن يحب مطيع، وكلما قوي سلطان المحبة في القلب، كان اقتضاؤه للطاعة وترك المخالفة أقوى، وإنما تصدر المعصية والمخالفة من ضعف المحبة وسلطانها، وفرق بين من يحمله على ترك معصية سيده خوفه من سوطه وعقوبته، وبين من يحمله على ذلك حبه لسيده، وفي هذا قال عمر :"نعم العبد صهيب لو لم يخف الله لم يعصه"، يعني أنه لو لم يخف من الله لكان في قلبه من محبة الله وإجلاله ما يمنعه من معصيته، فالمحب الصادق عليه رقيب من محبوبه، يرعى قلبه وجوارحه وعلامة صدق المحبة شهود هذا الرقيب ودوامه.
وههنا لطيفة يجب التنبه لها وهي " أن المحبة المجردة لا توجب هذا الأثر ما لم تقترن بإجلال المحبوب وتعظيمه"، فإذا قارنها بالإجلال والتعظيم أوجبت هذا الحياء والطاعة وإلا فالمحبة الخالية عنهما إنما توجب نوع أنس وانبساط وتذكر واشتياق، ولهذا يتخلف عنها أثرها وموجبها ويفتش العبد قلبه فيرى نوع محبة لله ولكن لا تحمله على ترك معاصيه وسبب ذلك تجردها عن الإجلال والتعظيم، فما عَمَّر القلب شيء كالمحبة المقترنة بإجلال الله وتعظيمه، وتلك من أفضل مواهب الله لعبده، أو أفضلها وذلك فضل الله يؤتيه من يشاء .
* السبب السادس: شرف النفس وزكاؤها وفضلها وأنفتها وحميتها أن تختار الأسباب التي تحطها وتضع من قدرها وتخفض منزلتها وتحقرها وتسوي بينها وبين السفلة .
* السبب السابع : قوة العلم بسوء عاقبة المعصية وقبح أثرها والضرر الناشيء منها من سواد الوجه، وظلمة القلب، وضيقه وغمه وحزنه وألمه، وانحصاره وشدة قلقه، واضطرابه وتمزق شمله، وضعفه عن مقاومة عدوه، وتعريه من زينته، والحيرة في أمره، وتخلي وليه وناصره عنه، وتولي عدوه المبين له، وتواري العلم الذي كان مستعدا له عنه، ونسيان ما كان حاصلاً له أو ضعفه ولا بد، ومرضه الذي إذا استحكم به فهو الموت ولا بد، فإن الذنوب تميت القلوب.
ومنها ذله بعد عزه.
ومنها أنه يصير أسيرا في يد أعدائه بعد أن كان ملكا متصرفا يخافه أعداؤه.
ومنها أنه يضعف تأثيره فلا يبقى له نفوذ في رعيته ولا في الخارج، فلا رعيته تطيعه إذا أمرها، ولا ينفذ في غيرهم.
ومنها زوال أمنه وتبدله به مخافة، فأخوف الناس أشدهم إساءة.
ومنها زوال الأنس والاستبدال به وحشة، وكلما ازداد إساءة ازداد وحشة.
ومنها زوال الرضى واستبداله بالسخط.
ومنها زوال الطمأنينة بالله والسكون إليه والإيواء عنده واستبداله بالطرد والبعد منه.
ومنها وقوعه في بئر الحسرات فلا يزال في حسرة دائمة كلما نال لذة نازعته نفسه إلى نظيرها إن لم يقض منها وطرا أو إلى غيرها إن قضى وطره منها، وما يعجز عنه من ذلك أضعاف أضعاف ما يقدر عليه وكلما اشتد نزوعه وعرف عجزه اشتدت حسرته وحزنه فيا لها نارا قد عذب بها القلب في هذه الدار قبل نار الله الموقدة التي تطلع على الأفئدة.
ومنها : فقره بعد غناه فإنه كان غنياً بما معه من رأس مال الإيمان وهو يتجر به ويربح الأرباح الكثيرة فإذا سلب رأس ماله أصبح فقيراً معدما فإما أن يسعى بتحصيل رأس مال آخر بالتوبة النصوح والجد والتشمير وإلا فقد فاته ربح كثير بما أضاعه من رأس ماله.
ومنها نقصان رزقه فإن العبد يحرم الرزق بالذنب يصيبه.
ومنها ضعف بدنه.
ومنها زوال المهابة والحلاوة التي لبسها بالطاعة فتبدل بها مهانة وحقارة.
ومنها حصول البغضة والنفرة منه في قلوب الناس.
ومنها ضياع أعز الأشياء عليه وأنفسها وأغلاها وهو الوقت الذي لا عوض منه ولا يعود إليه أبداً.
ومنها طمع عدوه فيه وظفره به فإنه إذا رآه منقادا مستجيبا لما يأمره اشتد طمعه وحدث نفسه بالظفر به وجعله من حزبه حتى يصير هو وليه دون مولاه الحق.
ومنها الطبع والرين على قلبه فإن العبد إذا أذنب نكت في قلبه نكتة سوداء فإن تاب منها صقل قلبه، وإن أذنب ذنبا آخر نكت فيه نكتة أخرى، ولا تزال حتى تعلو قلبه فذلك هو الران ، قال الله تعالى {كلا بل ران على قلوبهم ما كانوا يكسبون}.
ومنها أنه يحرم حلاوة الطاعة فإذا فعلها لم يجد أثرها في قلبه من الحلاوة والقوة ومزيد الإيمان والعقل والرغبة في الآخرة فإن الطاعة تثمر هذه الثمرات ولا بد.
ومنها أن تمنع قلبه من ترحله من الدنيا ونزوله بساحة القيامة فإن القلب لا يزال مشتتا مضيعا حتى يرحل من الدنيا وينزل في الآخرة فإذا نزل فيها أقبلت إليه وفود التوفيق والعناية من كل جهة واجتمع على جمع أطرافه وقضاء جهازه وتعبئة زاده ليوم معاده وما لم يترحل إلى الآخرة ويحضرها فالتعب والعناء والتشتت والكسل والبطالة لازمة له لا محالة.
ومنها إعراض الله وملائكته وعباده عنه، فإن العبد إذا أعرض عن طاعة الله واشتغل بمعاصيه أعرض الله عنه، فأعرضت عنه ملائكته وعباده ، كما أنه إذا أقبل على الله أقبل الله عليه وأقبل بقلوب خلقه إليه.
ومنها أن الذنب يستدعي ذنبا آخر ثم يقوى أحدهما بالآخر فيستدعيان ثالثاً، ثم تجتمع الثلاثة فتستدعي رابعاً وهلم جرا حتى تغمره ذنوبه وتحيط به خطيئته.
قال بعض السلف:" إن من ثواب الحسنة الحسنة بعدها، ومن عقوبة السيئة السيئة بعدها".
ومنها علمه بفوات ما هو أحب إليه وخير له منها من جنسها وغير جنسها فإنه لا يجمع الله لعبده بين لذة المحرمات في الدنيا ولذة ما في الآخرة، كما قال تعالى {ويوم يعرض الذين كفروا على النار أذهبتم طيباتكم في حياتكم الدنيا واستمتعتم بها}، فالمؤمن لا يذهب طيباته في الدنيا بل لا بد أن يترك بعض طيباته للآخرة، وأما الكافر فإنه لا يؤمن بالآخرة فهو حريص على تناول حظوظه كلها وطيباته في الدنيا.
ومنها علمه بأن أعماله هي زاده ووسيلته إلى دار إقامته فإن تزود من معصية الله أوصله ذلك الزاد إلى دار العصاة والجناة، وإن تزود من طاعته وصل إلى دار أهل طاعته وولايته.
ومنها علمه بأن عمله هو وليه في قبره، وأنيسه فيه، وشفيعه عند ربه، والمخاصم والمحاج عنه، فإن شاء جعله له، وإن شاء جعله عليه.
ومنها علمه بأن أعمال البر تنهض بالعبد وتقوم به، وتصعد إلى الله به فبحسب قوة تعلقه بها يكون صعوده مع صعودها وأعمال الفجور تهوي به وتجذبه إلى الهاوية، وتجره إلى أسفل سافلين، بحسب قوة تعلقه بها يكون هبوطه معها، ونزوله إلى حيث يستقر به، قال الله تعالى {إليه يصعد الكلم الطيب والعمل الصالح يرفعه}، وقال تعالى {إن الذين كذبوا بآياتنا واستكبروا عنها لا تفتح لهم أبواب السماء}، فلما لم تفتح أبواب السماء لأعمالهم بل أغلقت عنها لم تفتح لأرواحهم عند المفارقة بل أغلقت عنها، وأهل الإيمان، والعمل الصالح لما كانت أبواب السماء مفتوحة لأعمالهم حتى وصلت إلى الله سبحانه فتحت لأرواحهم حتى وصلت إليه تعالى، وقامت بين يديه فرحمها، وأمر بكتابة اسمها في عليين .
ومنها خروجه من حصن الله الذي لا ضيعة على من دخله، فيخرج بمعصيته منه إلى حيث يصير نهبا للصوص وقطاع الطريق، فما الظن بمن خرج من حصن حصين لا تدركه فيه آفة إلى خربة موحشة هي مأوى اللصوص وقطاع الطريق، فهل يتركون معه شيئاً من متاعه.
ومنها أنه بالمعصية قد تعرض لمحق بركته، وبالجملة فآثار المعصية القبيحة أكثر من أن يحيط بها العبد علما، وآثار الطاعة الحسنة أكثر من أن يحيط بها علما، فخير الدنيا والآخرة بحذافيره في طاعة الله، وشر الدنيا والآخرة بحذافيره في معصيته، وفي بعض الآثار يقول الله سبحانه وتعالى «من ذا الذي أطاعني فشقي بطاعتي، ومن ذ الذي عصاني فسعد بمعصيتي».
* السبب الثامن: قصر الأمل وعلمه بسرعة انتقاله وأنه كمسافر دخل قرية وهو مزمع على الخروج منها، أو كراكب قال في ظل شجرة ثم سار وتركها فهو لعلمه بقلة مقامه وسرعة انتقاله حريص على ترك ما يثقله حمله ويضره ولا ينفعه حريص على الانتقال بخير ما بحضرته فليس للعبد أنفع من قصر الأمل ولا أضر من التسويف وطول الأمل.
* السبب التاسع: مجانبة الفضول في مطعمه ومشربه وملبسه ومنامه واجتماعه بالناس، فإن قوة الداعي إلى المعاصي إنما تنشأ من هذه الفضلات، فإنها تطلب لها مصرفاً فيضيق عليها المباح، فتتعداه إلى الحرام، ومن أعظم الأشياء ضرراً على العبد بطالته وفراغه، فإن النفس لا تقعد فارغة بل إن لم يشغلها بما ينفعها شغلته بما يضره ولا بد.
* السبب العاشر: وهو الجامع لهذه الأسباب كلها ثبات شجرة الإيمان في القلب، فصبر العبد عن المعاصي إنما هو بحسب قوة إيمانه، فكلما كان إيمانه أقوى كان صبره أتم وإذا ضعف الإيمان ضعف الصبر، فإن من باشر قلبه الإيمان بقيام الله عليه، ورؤيته له، وتحريمه لما حرم عليه،وبغضه له ومقته لفاعله، وباشر قلبه الإيمان بالثواب والعقاب، والجنة والنار، امتنع من أن لا يعمل بموجب هذا العلم.
ومن ظن أنه يقوى على ترك المخالفات والمعاصي بدون الإيمان الراسخ الثابت فقد غلط، فإذا قوي سراج الإيمان في القلب وأضاءت جهاته كلها به، وأشرق نوره في أرجائه سرى ذلك النور إلى الأعضاء، وانبعث إليها فأسرعت الإجابة لداعي الإيمان، وانقادت له طائعة مذللة غير متثاقلة ولا كارهة، بل تفرح بدعوته حين يدعوها كما يفرح الرجل بدعوة حبيبه المحسن إليه إلى محل كرامته، فهو كل وقت يترقب داعيه ويتأهب لموافاته، والله يختص برحمته من يشاء والله ذو الفضل العظيم.
والصبر على الطاعة ينشأ من معرفة هذه الأسباب ومن معرفة ما تجلبه الطاعة من العواقب الحميدة والآثار الجميلة ومن أقوى أسبابها الإيمان والمحبة فكلما قوي داعي الإيمان والمحبة في القلب كانت استجابته للطاعة بحسبه " ص(448-455).

ومنها علمه بأن أعماله هي زاده ووسيلته إلى دار إقامته فإن تزود من معصية الله أوصله ذلك الزاد إلى دار العصاة والجناة، وإن تزود من طاعته وصل إلى دار أهل طاعته وولايته.
ومنها علمه بأن عمله هو وليه في قبره، وأنيسه فيه، وشفيعه عند ربه، والمخاصم والمحاج عنه، فإن شاء جعله له، وإن شاء جعله عليه.
ومنها علمه بأن أعمال البر تنهض بالعبد وتقوم به، وتصعد إلى الله به فبحسب قوة تعلقه بها يكون صعوده مع صعودها وأعمال الفجور تهوي به وتجذبه إلى الهاوية، وتجره إلى أسفل سافلين، بحسب قوة تعلقه بها يكون هبوطه معها، ونزوله إلى حيث يستقر به، قال الله تعالى {إليه يصعد الكلم الطيب والعمل الصالح يرفعه}، وقال تعالى {إن الذين كذبوا بآياتنا واستكبروا عنها لا تفتح لهم أبواب السماء}، فلما لم تفتح أبواب السماء لأعمالهم بل أغلقت عنها لم تفتح لأرواحهم عند المفارقة بل أغلقت عنها، وأهل الإيمان، والعمل الصالح لما كانت أبواب السماء مفتوحة لأعمالهم حتى وصلت إلى الله سبحانه فتحت لأرواحهم حتى وصلت إليه تعالى، وقامت بين يديه فرحمها، وأمر بكتابة اسمها في عليين .
ومنها خروجه من حصن الله الذي لا ضيعة على من دخله، فيخرج بمعصيته منه إلى حيث يصير نهبا للصوص وقطاع الطريق، فما الظن بمن خرج من حصن حصين لا تدركه فيه آفة إلى خربة موحشة هي مأوى اللصوص وقطاع الطريق، فهل يتركون معه شيئاً من متاعه.
ومنها أنه بالمعصية قد تعرض لمحق بركته، وبالجملة فآثار المعصية القبيحة أكثر من أن يحيط بها العبد علما، وآثار الطاعة الحسنة أكثر من أن يحيط بها علما، فخير الدنيا والآخرة بحذافيره في طاعة الله، وشر الدنيا والآخرة بحذافيره في معصيته، وفي بعض الآثار يقول الله سبحانه وتعالى «من ذا الذي أطاعني فشقي بطاعتي، ومن ذ الذي عصاني فسعد بمعصيتي».
* السبب الثامن: قصر الأمل وعلمه بسرعة انتقاله وأنه كمسافر دخل قرية وهو مزمع على الخروج منها، أو كراكب قال في ظل شجرة ثم سار وتركها فهو لعلمه بقلة مقامه وسرعة انتقاله حريص على ترك ما يثقله حمله ويضره ولا ينفعه حريص على الانتقال بخير ما بحضرته فليس للعبد أنفع من قصر الأمل ولا أضر من التسويف وطول الأمل.
* السبب التاسع: مجانبة الفضول في مطعمه ومشربه وملبسه ومنامه واجتماعه بالناس، فإن قوة الداعي إلى المعاصي إنما تنشأ من هذه الفضلات، فإنها تطلب لها مصرفاً فيضيق عليها المباح، فتتعداه إلى الحرام، ومن أعظم الأشياء ضرراً على العبد بطالته وفراغه، فإن النفس لا تقعد فارغة بل إن لم يشغلها بما ينفعها شغلته بما يضره ولا بد.
* السبب العاشر: وهو الجامع لهذه الأسباب كلها ثبات شجرة الإيمان في القلب، فصبر العبد عن المعاصي إنما هو بحسب قوة إيمانه، فكلما كان إيمانه أقوى كان صبره أتم وإذا ضعف الإيمان ضعف الصبر، فإن من باشر قلبه الإيمان بقيام الله عليه، ورؤيته له، وتحريمه لما حرم عليه،وبغضه له ومقته لفاعله، وباشر قلبه الإيمان بالثواب والعقاب، والجنة والنار، امتنع من أن لا يعمل بموجب هذا العلم.
ومن ظن أنه يقوى على ترك المخالفات والمعاصي بدون الإيمان الراسخ الثابت فقد غلط، فإذا قوي سراج الإيمان في القلب وأضاءت جهاته كلها به، وأشرق نوره في أرجائه سرى ذلك النور إلى الأعضاء، وانبعث إليها فأسرعت الإجابة لداعي الإيمان، وانقادت له طائعة مذللة غير متثاقلة ولا كارهة، بل تفرح بدعوته حين يدعوها كما يفرح الرجل بدعوة حبيبه المحسن إليه إلى محل كرامته، فهو كل وقت يترقب داعيه ويتأهب لموافاته، والله يختص برحمته من يشاء والله ذو الفضل العظيم.
والصبر على الطاعة ينشأ من معرفة هذه الأسباب ومن معرفة ما تجلبه الطاعة من العواقب الحميدة والآثار الجميلة ومن أقوى أسبابها الإيمان والمحبة فكلما قوي داعي الإيمان والمحبة في القلب كانت استجابته للطاعة بحسبه " ص(448-455).
